Executive Order 13792 directs Secretary of Interior Zinke to review a set of National Monuments designated since 1 JAN 1996 under the Antiquities Act.
The public comment period opens on 12 May and is only open for 15 days. The monuments open for comment and the location to make comments can be found here: https://www.doi.gov/pressreleases/interior-department-releases-list-monuments-under-review-announces-first-ever-formal One of the criteria for lands to be designated as a monument under the Antiquities Act is that the lands must be of "scientific interest". If you are familiar with the ecology of any of these monuments, you should consider submitting a comment regarding that criterion of the Antiquities Act. Matt Hurteau
