We seek a candidate for a predoctoral contract for research staff in training of the "Santiago Grisolia" program (link, in Spanish <http://www.gva.es/es/inicio/procedimientos?id_proc=13700>) with start date *October 1, 2017*. The candidate must have *university degree** by a non-Spanish institution* and to *have finished the studies after January 31, 2014,* in the field of Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Ecology or similar.
The Doctoral Thesis will focus on the study of the* Variability of the postfire strategies of Mediterranean plants in relation to global change* (reference: GRISOLIAP/2017/176). The thesis will be carried out in the Department of Plant Ecology of Centro de Investigaciones sobre Desertificación in Valencia, Spain, a joint research center (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Universitat de València y Generalitat Valenciana).
