A postdoctoral position is available focused on the temporal aspects of
interactions among biogeochemistry, paleoecology, and global change. The
postdoc will perform original research on topics in paleoenvironmental
change, especially related to long-term biogeochemistry and disturbance,
in collaboration with supervisor Dr. Kendra McLauchlan. The primary
responsibilities associated with this position are: (1) to assist with
coordination of a diverse and broad network of researchers in the U.S.
and elsewhere, and (2) to conduct independent research on the
biogeochemical consequences of ecosystem change at decadal to
multi-millennial timescales. Required minimum qualifications are a Ph.D.
in a relevant ecological, Earth, or environmental science, and previous
experience acquiring and analyzing data in the fields of Earth science,
ecosystem ecology or paleoecology. Preferred qualifications include
successful production of peer-reviewed publications, and previous
experience with microscopy, spectrometry, and/or techniques used in
