Good afternoon, The second national Protecting Pollinators in Urban Landscapes conference will be in Traverse City, MI, October 9-11, 2017. September 1 is an important deadline for poster submission and earlybird registration rates.
At the conference, twenty-three national, international, and local speakers will explore the biology of pollinators in urban and ornamental landscapes, with sessions covering pollinator function and diversity, threats, pesticide effects, landscape management, and public outreach. The conference also includes opportunities for optional tours exploring northern Michigan’s native ecosystems and pollinator habitat.
