The Department of Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management (BSPM) at CSU
seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty at the assistant professor level to
study arthropod vectors of plant pathogens, including viruses, bacteria,
fungi, and/or nematodes. The successful applicant to Vector Biologist of
Plant Pathogens position will develop an extramurally-funded research
program, and perform research in epidemiology, evolution, ecology, genetics,
molecular biology, behavior, or interactions of arthropod vectors and their
pathogens. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. from an accredited
institution in a relevant field (e.g., entomology, virology, bacteriology,
mycology, ecology, biology, or related field) at the time of application,
demonstrated knowledge of vector biology, vector-pathogen ecology and
evolution, and/or epidemiology,  and experience in working with or desire to
