The Tick Project (www.tickproject.org) is a multi-year, large-scale 
research project aimed at reducing the incidence of Lyme disease and other 
tick-borne diseases at the neighborhood scale.  We seek a Data-focused 
Research Specialist to be filled at the Assistant, Associate, or Senior 
Research Specialist level.  The Data-focused Research Specialist will work 
with the Animal-focused and Human-focused Research Specialists, as well as 
with other project personnel, to maintain, explore, and analyze all data 
from the project.  Data will include demographic information on vertebrate 
animals and ticks, tick infection prevalence, human encounters with ticks 
and incidence of tick-borne disease, land use/land cover (GIS), images from 
wildlife cameras, and human behaviors relevant to tick-borne disease.  
Experience in data analysis and visualization, client management software 
(e.g., Salesforce), epidemiology, population biology, and/or medical 
anthropology, and a Bachelors degree, are highly desirable.  A Master's 
degree is required for the Senior Research Specialist level.

Salary is commensurate with experience and education. This is a full-time, 
exempt, benefitted position.
