Dear Colleagues: I am interested in knowing the exact day of mailing into foreign libraries of the 1912 issues of *Pflügers Archive*. If it is not possible to provide an exact day, a approximation (e.g., month year) would be better than what we have now: no data. Background: Another colleague and I are completing a review paper and wish to make a historical digression to discuss what knowledge was already available on detailed aspects of respiratory physiology of interest to us at that point in time.
