Hi all - I was asked to help organize a group of people interested in LGBTQIA issues at the Ecological Society of America meetings. This is a direct result of discussions around the "Ally" ribbons and the LGBT luncheon.
Our FIRST purpose as a group will be to answer the question: Should we organize a LGBTQIA section, or can we just use the Inclusive Ecology section as our avenue to organize around LGBTQIA issues at ESA? As a first step, I set up a Google Group. If you're interested in joining these discussions, please join the group I just created.
