If you are a student attending the 2018 Annual AAG Conference in New Orleans,
the Landscape Speciality Group encourages you to consider submitting an
abstract* for our Student Oral Presentation Competition.

The Landscape Speciality Group (LSG) provides a forum for geographers
interested in bridging human and physical geography. Membership is free for
students.

Possible topics for the 2018 Student Oral Presentation Competition include
human or physical geography problems over multiple scales, interactions among
components of cultural-ecological systems and impacts of human modifications to
environmental systems, conceptions of landscape and their application in
research and/or teaching, theoretical developments in the role of landscape in
geography, and others.

The prize for the winning presentation is $250 and $100 for second place.

For abstract guidelines, judging criteria, and more information on this
