Hello EcoLoggers --

My college is looking into open educational resources (OER) as one strategy
to reduce textbook costs. Do any of you have any experience adopting an
open access textbook for introductory ecology / environmental science
courses?  For example, OpenStax
<https://cnx.org/contents/[email protected]:BARv-3P2@3/Life-Histories-and-Natural-Sel>
Biology
from Rice University is one many sites point to, which contains a few
chapters relevant to intro ecology courses, but may not be detailed enough
to support an entire course. I welcome hearing any of your experiences
with OER for ecology.

Thanks,
Margaret
