Assistant Professor of Global Change Agroecology, University of Florida

The Agronomy Department at the University of Florida (agronomy.ifas.ufl.edu)
invites applications for a 12-month tenure-accruing position that will be
60% teaching and 40% research. This appointment will be at the rank of
Assistant Professor, with an expected start date no later than August 1,
2018.  This position will complement highly collaborative agroecology
faculty programs addressing agronomic, economic, and ecological resilience
in global agroecosystems to complement our preeminent agroecology program at
the University of Florida.

We are looking for candidates with experience working in transdisciplinary
teams to investigate global change issues in agroecosystems using a variety
of approaches that may include remote sensing and systems analysis at
large-scales. The successful candidate will also be highly motivated to
engage in teaching activities by helping with existing courses in
agroecology and developing new graduate and undergraduate courses that will
address gaps in our agroecology curriculum.

A doctorate in Agronomy, Agroecology, or a related field is required. For
