The City of Austin is requesting applications to the Barton Springs Salamander Conservation Fund. We are looking to fund conservation and research projects on Barton Springs and/or Austin Blind salamanders (endemic to Austin, Texas), as well as their habitat and ecosystems (e.g., Barton Springs and the Barton Springs segment of the Edwards Aquifer). Proposed projects may also include education and habitat restoration, as the scope is fairly broad. Please see the link below for complete details and feel free to email me if you have any questions.
