Columbia University invites applications for a Lecturer in Discipline
position in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental
Biology (E3B). This is a full-time appointment with multiyear renewal
contingent on successful review. E3B represents broad interests in
ecology, evolution, behavior, conservation biology, and environmental
science. We seek a candidate with a serious commitment and proven record
in teaching, advising (ideally at a graduate level), and research. S/he
will serve as Program Director for E3B's Master's program in Ecology,
Evolution and Conservation Biology, and will teach four to five classes
annually including a student research development seminar and other
graduate and advanced undergraduate courses. Appointment will begin July
1, 2018. Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, 2-page
teaching/mentoring statement (including philosophy, experience and
plans), a two-page statement outlining prior research accomplishments
