The project will be focused on understanding the first-year student experience and designing professional development for faculty. Salary for this position is between $45,000 and $47,000 commensurate with experience. This postdoc includes: - Helping to develop and facilitating professional development programs targeting STEM faculty - Managing the collection and analyses of classroom observations and course artifacts - Interviewing STEM faculty on topics related to their instructional practices - Conducting statistical analyses on survey data collected from students enrolled in STEM courses - Providing logistical support for project coordination The work will also be in collaboration with Brian Couch (biology education researcher, https://biosci.unl.edu/brian-couch) and Marilyne Stains (chemistry education researcher, https://chem.unl.edu/marilyne-stains) at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree focused in STEM education or a STEM field by the start of the appointment. Your background can be from any STEM field.
