I would appreciate suggestions for any program or lab which can identify 
phyto- and zooplankton from freshwater habitats.  Ideally this would be a free 
service, since I don’t have access to standard university resources.

    I’m aware of NOAA’s Phytoplankton Monitoring Network, but they’re focused 
on coastal marine environments and only track a limited number of phytoplankton 
species.  I’m looking to sample a different and much broader suite of species, 
but I’m not sure where to start.  If anyone can recommend a program, service or
