This fully funded PhD project is part of 15 PhD Projects in a recently funded
ITN project within the Horizon 2020 program of the EU, called Inspire for
Nature. It will explore relationships between Red List Indices at national,
European, and global scales, building from re-assessment of extinction risk of
all European freshwater fishes. Based at the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater
Ecology and Inland Fisheries (Berlin, Germany), with secondments to the
International Union for Conservation of Nature (Cambridge UK; 8 months). The
key supervisors are Dr. Jörg Freyhof and Prof. Dr. Robert Arlinghaus as well as
colleagues from IUCN.

Details on the project and how to apply, see

Deadline of April, 16, is fast approaching. Please spread the word among
recently graduated M.Sc. students.
