Field Trip 10: Giving Back to New Orleans
Sunday, August 5, 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

ESA is partnering with the Acorn Farm to offer our attendees a hands-on
opportunity to give back to the community hosting us this year.

Volunteers will support this organization in their mission by engaging in

Field Trip 7: Service Learning Day at Bayou St. John Urban Marsh
Tuesday, August 7, 9:00 AM - 1:15 PM

The Urban marsh at the mouth of Bayou St. John is a living classroom and a
laboratory for restoration. It also serves as a filter for pollution that
enters the lake from the city of New Orleans.

Guests will learn about the bayou and its importance to the city while
participating in a service cleaning up litter at the marsh.
And they will also learn about the history of the lakefront area and what
is being done to save Louisiana's disappearing coast.
