________________________________ Job description The School of Life Sciences is at the forefront of research in the biological sciences in the UK, coming in the top 10 in the REF 2014. We wish to appoint a Teaching Fellow with expertise and experience to deliver teaching in animal and plant ecology, plant science, conservation and evolution, and potentially related areas of genetics and molecular biology. Expertise should include fieldwork skills and the capability to teach, organise and lead multiple residential field course either in the UK or internationally. Ability to supervise B.Sc. or M.Sc. level student research projects would also be beneficial. The post will offer opportunities for professional development including module leadership, the appointee will be expected to have or obtain a PGCertHE (including time allowed for study), and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
