The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Microbiology. The position is anticipated at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level. We seek an outstanding scientist who will enhance and complement existing strengths in our broad-based interactive biology department; our faculty include those with active research programs studying viral, prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbes.
