Conference on Empirical Macroeconomics Using Geographical Data

*The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics <http://www.bepress.com/bejm>*(BEJM) and
the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco announce a call for papers that
explore how empirical data organized by geographical area can be used to
answer questions in empirical macroeconomics for the Conference on Empirical
Macroeconomics Using Geographical
Data<http://www.frbsf.org/economics/conferences/1103/agenda.php>,
to be held in San Francisco on in March 2011. Proceedings of the conference,
as well as discussions from invited discussants, will be published in a
special issue of the Advances tier of the BEJM. A $5,000 prize will be
awarded for the paper that makes the most valuable contribution to empirical
macroeconomics. The conference will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank
of San Francisco. Submission deadline: October 15, 2010
