Conference on Empirical Macroeconomics Using Geographical Data
*The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics <http://www.bepress.com/bejm>*(BEJM) and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco announce a call for papers that explore how empirical data organized by geographical area can be used to answer questions in empirical macroeconomics for the Conference on Empirical Macroeconomics Using Geographical Data<http://www.frbsf.org/economics/conferences/1103/agenda.php>, to be held in San Francisco on in March 2011. Proceedings of the conference, as well as discussions from invited discussants, will be published in a special issue of the Advances tier of the BEJM. A $5,000 prize will be awarded for the paper that makes the most valuable contribution to empirical macroeconomics. The conference will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
