Dear Dr. Leichenko: I'm an environmental economist at the Dept. of Geography and Environmental Sustainability at University of Oklahoma.
I'm looking for a PhD student with a background in economic geography to work with me on economic, environmental, and weather related issues. The student will graduate with a PhD degree in Geography from our department.
I have found that you are serving as a chair of the AAG Economic Geography specialty group. I would appreciate it if you could circulate the attached job announcement among the group members.
