The position is to replace Pádraig Carmody when he completes his term at the end of 2017. While we welcome applications from any area of human geography, we particularly encourage applications from those with specialisms in development or political geography. Geoforum publishes research articles that are conceptually-led and empirically-grounded, critical reviews, and editorial interventions. It also features a highly-regarded 'themed issue' format that enables a focused exploration of emergent and/or significant areas of inquiry: recent examples include themed issues on Conservation and Security, Beyond Land Grabbing and Climate Justice and the Caribbean.
