Weather is sunny during the day, showering just a useful amount at night,
warmer than usual here. It was the same last year. April 12th the hail came
straight down from the arctic and after that we had a drought and frost
every night until the end of May. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed and a
handy couple of bales of straw.
Problem with the Swiss guy is he has absolutely no intention of living in
the house - designed it that way because he doesn't live there and he
reckoned that was the best way to keep the house in good condition when
he's away. He is strictly in it for the money and has no personal
convictions except this is a growth industry. Which it is of course but it
would be nice if it was growing because people thought it was worth doing
rather than because the law is making them behave better (which is what is
beginning to happen here, slowly, and I guess most other places too -
something to do with the planners realising that the way things are going
the air might run out in their lifetime rather than their childrens)
Hows the farm going? Sounds as though all that time you put into thought is
bearing fruit
