I am in Australia but I suspect that the following possibility would be
available in the U.S. too.

Today on a "home improvement" show they showed recycled shipping
containers, modified as a stand alone room. Complete with one or more doors
and windows which can be covered by the original sides as an awning and
presumably battened for security.

I suspect it might be possible to instruct them not to paint, or to put in
carpet or lino so you can do your own "safe" touching up, but have a useful
shell to start with.

The attraction to me is that the materials ought to be relatively inert as
they would be pretty old, strong and sealed.
