Wendel Berry

Bill Duesing has sent his last few essays to ecopath and they
reminded me of Wendel Berry. Wendel wrote about small farms
and towns of North America in a different time. He was very
sad to see the impact of modern agriculture and wrote book
after book. He also wrote lots of poetry, farmed, and taught
at the local college. He wrote about what he knew and it
shows in the writing.

I did a web search and found very few references. Now that
Wendel is dead i guess he is being forgotten. Not by me and
not by the local library. He has a listing of over twenty
books and many of them are checked out. I can only assume
that many people without internet connections still
remember Wendel Berry.
