I'll second that! I've become a big fan of chestnuts myself. The more I
find out the more amazing they seem. Here's an easy recipe that I came up
with. Boil, peel and mash (chunky is OK) the chestnuts and mix them with
mashed persimmon (I much prefer the hard type). This makes a great desert
in the fall. I haven't tries it but vanilla ice cream or cream might be
good with this as a richer version.
