Yes, one can approach life from many viewpoints and use many different
words, but it doesn't change the basic reality.  We could say there
is only the "present" and past or future steps do not exist in the
present.  Or a path is just an abstract model or process which provides
guidance for our thinking.  It doesn't have a physical form or exist.

Yes, we can view the world like that.  How does it help move us
towards sustainable actions and culture?  How would someone use
it in their daily life?

Don't we need the concepts of:  feedback, ethics, visions of the future,
and all the other stuff included in the path model?
