This is a point I'd like to see stressed everywhere. For us, animals
are as family members. While we have not yet cared for farm animals, I
believe if and when we get animals for the farm, we'd essentially feel
the same responsibility for another life and provide similar care. We
do tend to move very cautiously towards large commitments like this
however.
