I've never been able to find the words to describe balance very
well. It is like a dance with life where one maintains balance
and at the same time moves around. It is never static and describing
our position when the music stops isn't the dance, but these static
positions are easier to describe and argue about so that is what
happens.
My thoughts get fuzzy when trying to connect balance to actual
events. Those who claim balance is bogus often have a position
they want to force on others and appear somewhat intolerant.
The idea that nature is not dominated by balance opens up the
idea that disturbance is good and eventually leads to acceptance
of human domination over the earth. The balanced view leads towards
more of a partnership. This is just a generalization and not always
true and that is what happens when one gets close to balance. It
is a fuzzy state.
