Enjoying a small farm or Eco lifestyle isn't an easy
skill to acquire. The how-to books spend very little
time on finding joy in everyday events. This makes a
magazine devoted to farm adventure somewhat unique. If
the magazine happens to be written by experienced farmers
and taken from real events it becomes even more interesting.

All these thoughts crossed my mind as i read the spring issue
of "Farm Romance and adventure". The first essay was about
an old tree and then they went on to poems about cattle and
the feeling of a coming storm.

Here is a few sentences from article titled "Diary of a Country
Woman".

No one, I believe, could record a connected narrative of
farm life, because the natural forces about you drive you
this way and that. You cannot follow any plan or train of
thought for more than an hour at a time. You are
interrupted by the weather, by one sort of emergency or
  another. Corra Harris's diary 1922
