So much for the state of the world. When I was younger I got very involved
in the causes of the world. At that time it was El Salvador and the the
Iranian contra scandal. Well George Bush (one of the worlds biggest cocaine
dealers of the time) came out smelling like a rose. NOt much justice there.
I got pretty burned out with it all.
i agree. Peace does start with me. I have to admit that I have allot to
work on in this department.
I do enjoy the ideas around sustainable living, because they provide a
constructive path for withdrawing energies from that world of politics, and
destruction to investing it more locally. It enables me or you to do
something of a healing nature for ourselves and the planet.
Rather than complaining about the 'Energy Corporations' sucking us dry, we
can find ways to both reduce energy needs and create it ourselves. This is a
path of personal responsiblity.
Screw the World
