Problem I 'm finding is that BioRegions are far too broad, and not as well 
differentiated as I'd like.

For example what BIO Region would you place Kentucky in.  Saying it's in a 
temperate, eastern forest or some such Bio Region doesn't really add that 
much to my knowledge!

I'm looking for more details on my specific Region. I've found some 
descriptions at UK but even those are far too general. How about lists of 
native plants, communities that thrive naturally, characteristics of regional 
soils, relationship to Permaculture, etc.

I'm rushing this post so please forgive the top of mind comments.  Frank
