Hi John, I always anticipate spring and start planting long
before it arrives.  It is some form of addiction or madness.
All my sprouts are now freezing and the greenhouse is
frozen.  No problem.. the joy is in the anticipation and doing.

Yes, I've lived in Arizona and California and miss some aspects
of those climates.  I've also spent time in the mountains (very
short growing seasons) and that was nice.  This leads me to the
conclusion that "home" is a partnership with land and our
attitudes/actions often determine success.
