If you live it the US get a copy of SUN magazine.
This month it has an interview with Duane Elgin
talking about his view of voluntary simplicity.
It was Duane Elgin's books that initiated interest
in simplicity and few authors have come close to his
clarity of thinking. Here are some quotes from SUN
magazine.

"It's not so much about living with less as it is
about living with purpose and balance."

"Rich or poor, the whole world needs to be thinking
about and exploring new ways of living."

He goes on to talk about the influence of mass media
and how that steers cultures towards change or degrades
life for everyone. Some web pages mentioned were:

 www.ourmediavoice.com

 www.awakeningearth.com

 www.OregonSolutions.net

Duane has always included ecology, earth care, and
sustainability in his philosophy. His contribution has
been to approach them from as an individual choice and
this evolved into voluntary simplicity. He now appears
to be looking at the internet and other ways of approaching
earth care.
