Wow!!! Thank you very much, it works!!!!

But....

the download does work, it says "complete". It's the unpacking that
doesn't work.

Find below a copy from my shell.

In my '/opt/ecos/gnutools/powerpc-eabi/bin' I see all the
'powerpc-...exe' files. So it seems that unpacking gnutools-powerpc
tar files was successful.

It's ecos2 unpacking that fails, isn't it?
