Hello!
Something I found out using the revision control tools to which CVS is
a member of, logins are not necessary at the version shipped with my
distribution of Linux-- Which is version 1.11.22, however the
statements regarding logging in is indeed correct for v1.10.

Oh and it is necessary for proper application of CVS for a file named
.cvspass to be created in the /root directory.

Other then that all is in order.
