It is the MSA core which is coupled with the Xscale core in some Intel/Marvell devices. There is a GCC toolchain for a similar processor (Blackfin) but the differences are enough that the Blackfin compiler will not work. There is a compiler from Intel/Marvell that I was wondering if I could use.
