Andrew, thank you for your answer.. I made the changes that you
suggested, I added two more serial ports, but what happens with the
CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_COMM_CHANNELS macro? Is it enough to change
its limit to 5 or should I change any other file?

packages/devs/serial/i386/pc/current/include/i386_pc_ser.inl. You need
to add CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_I386_PC_SERIAL2 and 3 and modify the CDL
appropriately.
