Sorry for late reply.
Yes, when I specify appropriate deviceType in serial-channel-instance, the 
driver code will not check chip and just enable it.
So I explictly set deviceType for LPC2XXX's UART0, and intialize UART1 and 
other channels(of SC16C550) as before, then all channels works well with FIFO 
enabled.
