Hi,
I don't know bochs inside at all.
qemu for i386 use BIOS, and perhaps this is incompatible with ecos.
However qemu gives you the possibilities to debug your image, without JTAG.
If your arch is i386, try:
- "qemu ... -s -S ..."
- start gdb and type
->target remote 127.0.0.1:1234
Now break at your application entry point, if ever called
