Hi I want to run redboot on ST stm3210e board, and I install cygwin environment, and install eCos and cross-tool chains from ecos website.
I use configtool to configure redboot for stm32 board. Select Build->Template->ST STM3210E EVAL Board->redboot. Then import redboot_ROM.ecm file. No changing configuration, building redboot. Burning into stm32 on-chip flash, then use hyper terminal to connect to board, set baudrate 38400-N-1, no flow control. But no response. Then I check the configuration option, found ST STM32 serial device driver option is grey, I think it means serial device driver is inactive. Is that configuration correct? I add the package CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL and CYGPKG_IO, then appear IOsubsystem option, and serial device driver is active, and I found in serial device driver the hardware device driver is not selected by default. Do I need select them? Then building, burning, and use hyper terminal to connect serial port com1, no reponse yet. I don't know which step contain mistake. Could someone help me? Thanks in advance.
