I am bringing up eCos on a custom internal board, I have diag_printf working just fine, but I can't seem to get printf or gets to work correctly. I only have one serial port on the board, I setup the default console to be /dev/ttydiag, which I thought would be the same as what diag_printf does, but I don't see anything come out with printf. I looked through the archives and saw something about /dev/haldiag, but I am not sure if I can use that as the default console, and if it would give me bidirectional communication.
