Ahh, yes. You will also need to inhibit management of the internal flash by enabling CYGNUM_REDBOOT_FLASH_RESERVED_DEVICES with value "0x08000000". If you can confirm correct behaviour with this additional configuration change, I will update redboot_ROM.ecm accordingly.
