[ECOS] Saving Global Pointer for SPARC

Greetings,

In my repository (1.0.7) it appears only mips includes code for saving 
and restoring the global pointer in hal_arch.h while other platforms do 
not. Is it necessary to save this pointer for SPARC? Does anybody have 
the SPARC code to do this? The macros are CYGARC_HAL_SAVE_GP() AND 
CYGARC_HAL_RESTORE_GP().
