Thanks for the thorough report. I am having trouble even starting
ecryptfsd as root on 2.6.24-rc7 without oopsing the kernel. It seems
that the netlink code over the last few kernel releases has been
giving eCryptfs more and more trouble. I will probably just move away
from netlink altogether and use a regular device handle to manage the
I/O with the daemon.
