That is quite unfortunate; the most compelling use I see for eCryptfs
right now is remote filesystems, as local ones (in my use cases) are
far better served by the block encryption schemes.

May I request that the FAQ or some documentation be updated to note
that, in spite of all the mentions of NFS/CIFS, it still doesn't work?
 The only current statement (found in the FAQ) indicates there is an
unlink bug with 2.6.24, but no other concern.  Indeed, the comparison
matrix notes that it can be stacked on top of networked filesystems
(7th item).
