Dustin- Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I could not figure out what the login passphrase was so I just uninstalled the whole thing using the instructions at: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EncryptedPrivateDirectory
I then reinstalled it, but for some reason, I still can't get the Private Directory icon to show up on the desktop like it used too. When I try to mount my private directory I get the following message: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mount.ecryptfs_private keyctl_search: Required key not available When I go to create a key, I get the following message: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ecryptfs-setup-private ERROR: wrapped-passphrase file already exists, use --force to overwrite.
