Status in “ecryptfs-utils” source package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: ecryptfs-utils I am using fstab and smbfs to mount my nas-box on startup since 2-3 years on ubuntu. You have to provide an extra mount-option for a credentials file for user and password. //IP-Address/SharedFolderName /media/nas cifs credentials=/home/bernd/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,codepage=cp850,uid=1000,gid=1000 0 0 Since I am using the encrypted home directory on jaunty the automount on startup doesn't work anymore. If I put my credential file on another place (e.g: /opt) the automount works fine.
