maybe (when we get that far) i should take a look at adding package-only
builds to the ecs2 build script.
BTW i'm going to commit generation scripts really soon. the packages i
rely on in jakarta-commons are going to be released in the next couple of
days or you can checkout jakarta-commons and roll you own. you also need a
recent copy of velocity (1.2 dev rather than 1.1) and ant 1.4 installed.
