I am about to release a project that make heavy use of ecs and I want to know what I need to do to be compliant with the licensing. The project will be open source, I am not sure what flavor yet. But I would like to know what I need to distribute in order to play the open source game right in regards to the Java Apache Project. I thought this might be a faq, but did not find it. I have include the ecs/COPYING as myproject/COPYING.ecs is this correct? Do I need to include the COPYING in the source, like the the ecs source code does? OR does the my source contain the verbage from whatever open source license I choose? In myproject/README I appened the ecs/README. In myproject/AUTHORS I give glowing thanks to Stephan Nagy, Jon S. Stevens, and Vadim Tkachenko. Answers would be nice, but a url to an FAQ or HOWTO would be even better. -- Bob Tanner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | Phone : (612)943-8700 http://www.real-time.com | Fax : (612)943-8500 Key fingerprint = 6C E9 51 4F D5 3E 4C 66 62 A9 10 E5 35 85 39 D9 -- ------------------------------------------------------------ To subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives and Other: <http://java.apache.org/main/mail.html> Problems?: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
